Oman

Oman is a country of enormous diversity and natural beauty. It is a country considered to be the Arabian Peninsula’s most rewarding destination. The Sultanate of Oman, with an area of 309,500 square kilometres, encompasses a diverse range of topography, including mountain ranges, arid deserts and fertile plains. Oman’s varied and spectacular landscapes are a blend of its geological history, and its climate over the past few million years. Oman’s location also helped and added to the advantages of this great country.

The sultanate has such an abundance of hidden treasures. From the grand forts, exquisite palaces and mystical souqs of the capital Muscat, to the undulating dunes, fresh water wadis and miles upon miles of unspoilt sandy beaches, Oman is just waiting to be discovered.

Oman, without a surprise, is named the Second Best City to visit in the world in 2012 by the travel guide publisher Lonely Planet, for its diverse environment and various tourist attractions. Muscat also was chosen as the Capital of Arab Tourism of 2012.
